Georgina Carter trained as a Graphic Designer before turning her hand to modelmaking and illustration used in filmmaking.
She's used her experience of prop making and paint effects not only on flat artworks but also on three dimentional pieces
such as furniture.
"i've been lucky enough to have many different jobs in so many fields of design. When I was younger and trying to
get my first break after leaving university, I turned up on the door step of design/tv companies asking for them to teach
me, some shut the door in my face some excepted and trained me, I know how cut throat these industries are but if I hadnt
had the experiences I wouldnt be making a go of it out here in Spain "
This led to Georgina having such an extensive portfolio that she's now divided them into two lots one for Magazine/Graphic/Product
design and one for three dimentional design/prop making.
In 2002 she moved to Valencia, Spain - to live another dream of restoring houses and furntiture, as well as creating a
diverse greeting card range which has been very popular with the english and spanish.
Now she's designing and making Wedding accesories and cards for two companies based in Sevile, in the south of Spain.
"branching out towards textiles is something I always wanted to do, one day i'll bring out my own swimwear range
but until then i'll keep designing and making textiles for the home"
